It sounds like it is.  I booked a similar and yes you receive the $200 back in OBC.  No where on my booking confirmation does it show the casino play or drinks while playing in casino.  It does show the $200 OBC per person.

I had a similar situation. I just recently sailed and went to the Casino host to verify my OBC and he put a sticker on my card for drinks while playing. I had my $200 plus another $50 which was a surprise and the drinks.  !!win-win!!

My fiancé got an offer for a free verandah room with $50 in casino play and free drinks in the casino.  Does anyone know if we can add something like the Have It All package to this promo or would have to add things a la carte (i.e., shore excursions, beverage package, internet, etc.)?  We paid for the Have It All package on our last cruise and got it for only around $300 a person for the week which we felt was a great deal.

I just logged on to HAL's site and looked up a price on a November '22 cruise on that list and it didn't show a great deal, so I must not have made the cut this time.

Call them...they may be able to get you a casino deal!

Do you really need to show the casino promotion to the casino host or cashier or does it usually show up under your room listing. I try to keep that promo in my emails because it says I can’t print it out. The promos get confusing which goes with which cruise. Thank you.

Good question!  I have obtained cruise discounts, from Hal, when booking with my TA (10-15%) in the past.  Promotions, ie, "$50 free play" etc, arrive from e-mails all the time.  My current booking, in Feb. 2022, did not include casino offers, via an on line agent.  I think I will contact the casino host,  after boarding, and ask what promos are available, based on my casino history.  Anybody tried this approach?   Golfbagger😉

When I boarded the Rotterdam they had no clue I had casino cash coming. I would always bring a copy of that email.

We last cruised on HAL in 2016, and probably only gambled in the casino once(we’re 3 star)

got a casino offer in June for a “free” inside with 200 each obc. Sailing Sunday on the konigsdam- upgraded to balcony, and then did orange. Went from a partially obstructed to a spa balcony. Yay.

Do we get cash in the casino, too, or only the obc?

Last week on the Nieuw Amsterdam, I went to the casino desk and said I was supposed to have $100 in free play and free drinks. They asked for my card, looked it up on the computer, put a sticker on my card indicating free drinks and said have fun! The $100 in free play was available when I put it in the slot machine. I worked that $100 up to over $700 at one point. Ended up playing it down to being $250, much to my wife’s chagrin.

That depends what your offer says!

That is a best case scenario. One I wish would happen all the time. I get a significant amount more in casino cash. They had nothing about it in the computer. They straightened it out after I showed them the email. Only took about an hour. Wasn't a big deal.
The other reason I bring the email is that this language is included in the bottom of the HAL email.

I printed out and brought my email offer with me too, but thought I’d give them a chance to do it the right way first. Thankfully it worked out great! I was also shocked at how empty the casino was on our cruise. Admittedly I’m not a late night gambler, so maybe it was busy while I was sleeping.

I'm assuming that the free drinks while playing in the casino offer is NOT considered a drink package and if we wanted the Elite package, we would need to pay the full amount for it?

Your assumption would be correct.
