We have never sailed Club Class before. Thanks As others mentioned, 'surf and turf' and lobster thermidor are two extra entrees you may find. In the past I've enjoyed the tableside preparations, and hope they return when protocols change. I'm a CC fan, no reservations, no wait to be seated, and personal service. Most of the two tops in CC are close enough that you can chit chat with any neighbors, if desired.

Sounds like Traditional Dining: no reservations, no wait to be seated, and personal service. 😛 From occasional past experience (seated on the other side of the glass divider between the regular dining room and club class) I have seen some of those tableside preparations. I remember several pasta dishes and maybe a dessert. I once leaned over the divider to ask someone in CC what the dish was. Funny thing is, a subsequent night in the traditional dining room, the HW (and helpers) prepared that same pasta dish for the whole dining room. The one dish I remember most was a spicy pasta with a tomato sauce. Very good.

The food is better in Britannia Club, as you get some items from their PG menu. Cabin is approx. 335 square ft. in Club Class v/s about 250 in Britannia Club. You get a full tub & shower in CC. You get priority boarding as well. Since we're Platinum on Cunard we get Priority. Not having sailed on HAL we'll have to have someone from them chime in. All we got was either Caesar salad, Pasta Alfredo, or Spaghetti. Not my idea of "special". I tend to feel the royal class has much better food overall. At least we found that on the Regal some years back.

Loved the guacamole for lunch.

The quality of the food is the same on the Grand class ships as it is on the Royal class ships. The best food I ever had on Princess was on the (sadly) late Pacific Princess.

I much prefer the flexible dining time of Club Class, or Anytime Dining when not in CC. I also like to eat at a table for 2 over a shared table. I understand Princess has frustrated many loyal cruisers, who are fans of TD, with the botched rollout of DMW, that has gutted TD as it existed. dave_k58 Posted August 23, 2021 Author #84 Share Posted August 23, 2021 (edited) Do the Club Class luggage tags say " priority" or are they a different color. Thanks Edited August 23, 2021 by dave_k58 typo

That ship is gone to P&O & was in a lot of need of TLC. And yet the Ultimate Balcony dinner was superb! That's really the level of food that should be served in Club Class! This was second to the last cruise before the Bug hit.

Thanks Funny, I don't remember. All I remember, was we were quickly escorted along with the suites to a different area for check in. It was seamless & quick.
