Parking at Southampton Cruise Terminal?

Hi, we're on the Sept 11th Southampton-Southampton sailing and wondering whether to drive ourselves and park at the cruise terminal. Does anyone know how you get from the parking area to the ship with luggage?

ABParking is offering parking for the September cruise and claims to be adjacent to the cruise terminal:

We have never used this parking facility; best give them a call to check the details

Parking is around 100 yards from check in , right on the quayside. It is very close. You can spot your car easily from the ship , if your stateroom is facing that direction. There is a marked walkway to check in.

Thank you Flossie and Govanguy - that's really useful info. Think we may well drive down, and avoid the risk of being in the car with a driver. Assuming it all goes ahead of course!

slightly off topic but which terminal does regent use and where do they meet you for drivers ( for booking transfers to heathrow)

The cruise is using Terminal J. You pick up a taxi or meet your driver right in front of the terminal. Terminal J is good because it is away from the other terminals and much less hectic.
