Internet Charges

Is it me, or shouldn't the internet fees become cheaper with all the new technology.....sure they have to use satellite at sea, but can't they use local companies in port with contracts....it just seems lie a lot of money per person withe the amount of people on a ship.....

I realize the sizeof the network rooms and cost of sattille cost for a fleet of aircraft, buyt just saying SOuthwest seems to have it under control....

 

I usually buy the middle of the road package for myself so we have contact with the family in case of emergencies....

Their business model is to make a lot of money by charging a lot of money because they know people will pay it. Norwegian charges like $55 for a case of bottled water.

That "new" technology doesn't pay for itself.   I.T. doesn't get any cheaper as time goes by.
