Mask protocols on MSC ships currently sailing

I don't see any feedback on wearing masks on board. 

Not required at all ?

Not required  in dining and bar venues ?  Casinos ?

Required indoors ?

Not required outdoors ?

Poolside deck chair spacing ?

 Help please

Direct copy from current MSC page. Same requirement for both Fully-Vaccinated and Not-Vaccinated:

 

You will be required to wear a mask throughout the cruise while indoors and in public areas. Mask use is not required outdoors. Where social distancing is not possible outdoors, mask use is recommended for all guests. You must wear your mask during disembarkation and throughout the terminal as well.

The protocol was not enforced in our experience

I will not go into the protocol, as the policy is clearly outlined on the website.

 

However, we just got off the Meraviglia today, and it was definitely NOT enforced.

 

I did enjoy noticing that people who can’t follow the simple mask policy often correlated with people who are unvaccinated 🙃

It really surprises me that MSC, of all lines, isn't enforcing their protocols. Their protocols are the reason i booked the seashore for next year. I realize that things will change in a year, but it's still disheartening, especially in the U.S. where the anti maskers are going nuts.

I read a lot of reviews of the current Meraviglia from Miami itineraries stating that the were being “mask police,” but as I mentioned, there definitely were not. We saw people often walking around without a mask and crew said nothing as they passed,

 

However, I do have to say that the overwhelming majority were complying and the overwhelming majority were vaccinated (another coincidence? 🤣).

 

Like you mentioned, I would not worry about these policies for November onwards, as I’m sure they will be changing often.
