Book now or wait on oct VIPF offers

We are looking at booking Magic to belize/honduras for oct 31st.   we have pretty good casino offers which expire on aug 31st... wondering if they will get better starting in september.   what do you think?

If i receive an offer that i am happy with, i book it. You never know what will happen later.

Protocols are already out for sept and oct. That being said I dont think carnival is caught up on the revoked exemptions. I just tried to call and got no where on a price drop for oct 30.

 

Prices do seem to still be dropping but if you have good offers now hard to say.

Why not put the cruise on hold for the 3-4 days it allows on August 31st?

Then when the September offer shows up you can see if it's a better deal.

 

BTW I have no idea if that would work but I am thinking of doing the same thing as I have a few drinks everywhere deals expiring August 31st and want to see what shows up September 1st.

I put a cruise on hold at the end of June or July because of the great obc deal.  It held the obc and I booked it the next month.

How were you able to put a cruise on hold with a casino offer?    When I look at my casino offers, it doesn't give the option to hold it, only payment in full.

I have no idea. All I know is I go all the way to the payment option and then when I click the go back button a window pops up and gives me the option.

This has been brought up before so hopefully someone else has a better answer.

I'm going all the way through to the payment option, but I'm not finding a back button.    Do you see it on the screen where you'd actually enter your CC info?

This is what shows up when I go all the way through to booking the cabin.

 

When I click on the "Hold For Free" it allows me to hold it for 96 hours (4 days).

This screen is right after you pick your room.  I don't know if it works with casino offers as I have never had one!
