The beef was okay. The first piece was better. If it had been any tougher I would say it was too tough but it had an amazing flavor to it. The second piece was tender but overcooked and didn't really have any flavor left in it.

 

The group all got it last week and raved about it. They were much tougher on the food than me and did not really like much of anything but all enjoyed this. I think tonight was just an off night. It was not bad, just not great.

I tried something new again for breakfast today. Lucky bowl had breakfast bowls. This was a bacon cheddar bowl.

 

 

 

I tried to lift the egg so you could see all the goodness underneath but the egg threatened to start running on me so I left it alone.

 

This was good and the bacon was not on bacation but it was a little too greasy. Get this while capacity is low because its also an omelet line and would not be worth waiting in that line for.

The lady in line in front of me ordered an oatmeal bowl and then was shocked when they put oatmal in it.

 

 

"Did you just put oatmeal in there. Oh no I don't want oatmeal on my eggs can you take that off".

 

Who knew an oatmeal bowl would come with oatmeal. 

 

I also grabbed a mimosa from the waiter coming around asking. He seemed surprised when I said yes. Poor guy must get a lot of rejection. I was happy to help 🙂

That was a fun trivia. It said movie it was actually "explaining movies badly". I did better than I thought I would but still no ship.

 

A dark souled woman much choose between loving a dead guy or a dog.

 

The answer would be twilight. I won't give anymore away but the descriptions they gave were great.

That's Oasis of the Seas in the background. I think this is the first time post pandemic I've been in port with another ship that was active.

They weren't as forthcoming with an exact total today. They said we are sailing at above 50% capacity. Fifty percent would be 1492. Best guess i would say between 1500-1600 guests on this cruise.

 

Work continues in Nassau.

Quick Question on the Cheers package, if I was to order a double drink(ie double jack and coke) would it count as 2 drinks for the cheers package or just 1?

The lucky bowls look a lot better than what they had on Sunrise in 2019. The bowls were mostly broth and I felt like I was getting soup.

You can't order doubles with Cheers. You can order a Jack & Coke and five minutes later order another shot of Jack to make it a double. (2 drinks).

I've ordered the pork chop. Ordinarily I would not come to a pay restaurant and then proceed to order a pork chop with all this amazing food on the menu but based on all the raves about it here on cc I did it.

 

If this goes south thats on you cruise critic 😉

The pork chop was good. Would i go on the best dish at cucina thread and say the pork chop? No. Would I order it again? Probably not. 

 

It was good, but at the end of the day it was just a hunk of meat. Their was A LOT of food there. But I can't say anything I've ever ordered here was anything less than massive.

 

Some bread to begin with.

 

 

For my starter I ordered the arancini and Nonnas meatball.

 

 

For my main I got the pork chop with a side of spaghetti.

 

 

For dessert I got the lemon tort.

 

 

That was good but the biscotti is too much better to abandon it again.
