Cabin Upgrades

With the ships sailing at reduced capacity and with all the cancellations that seem to be happening, is Carnival offering any cabin upgrade prior to the cruise or at embarkation?

None I've heard of and I'm on 3 close in roll calls.

 

There was a 48 hour sale pay for ov, get a balcony about a week ago some took advantage of. But not free.

No.  Carnival in  general does not do this (any more - when did they last do it regularly?).

 

Basically, their approach is if you really want that balcony, please give us more of your money...which I understand.  Because if they started giving our free upgrades, many people would book interiors hoping to get an upgrade, and Carnival would lose out on revenue.

I agree with what you have said, I just thought with the reduced capacity and with all the hassle of testing they might offer upgrades for a sign of goodwill.

Traveling today on the breeze and got an up grade two days ago. From deck 4 to Lido. Deck!🍾

Is the boarding thing still broke. I read vista at one terminal and  breeze at the other. Cookie monster said still decent debark time even with it broke.
