Upgrade after final payment.

The price of our upcoming cruise with Cheers dropped considerably after final payment.

 

What's Carnival's "official" policy on this?  We are not looking for a price drop, but the price of an extended balcony is well below what we paid for a standard balcony.  The extra balcony space would be nice.  Would they move us to an extended balcony if we asked?  

 

We booked online and do not have a PVP.

Call.  Sometimes they will do the switch.  Good luck.

We were able to change to an extended balcony due to a price drop....same scenario as you.

Maybe but you may also lose the CHEERS add on so ask

I have upgraded many times.  They don't refund the difference, but hey, you get better rooms for the same price.

Mine dropped hundreds of dollars but if I price matched was told I'd lose cheers. Who knows ..call back but verify you dont lose cheers.

I am past final payment and had a price drop on my cruise with the RU1 cheers package.  Spoke with my PVP who said only early saver rates could get an OBC.
 

I was okay with that but then later got an email showing I now have a $149 OBC and kept Cheers!! 
 

Not sure what happened or how he did it, but I will take it!!  Just goes to show you it never hurts to ask….😁😁

That's awesome. We booked through a travel agent and I was able to get OBC for the price difference.
