Drink Package Refunded if Upgraded with MoveUp?

We noticed the MoveUp offer on Suites were substantially less than advertised for our 9/25 cruise on the Apex to Greece and have decided to upgrade from our Infinite Verandah room.  When we first purchased our original cabin, we decided to upgrade the drink package to premium and paid extra.  I was curious if Celebrity refunds the cost of upgrading the drink package when upgrading to a suite via MoveUp, since suites automatically have the premium drink package built in?  Thanks as always for the help/tips!

In the Move-Up "General Terms" it says this among other things:

Any promotions associated with the original booking will remain in effect. The Upgrade will not be eligible to receive any promotions or benefits that are applicable to the stateroom had it been originally booked at that stateroom category.

Celebrity MoveUp – Upgrade Offer | Celebrity Cruises

With regards to the increased gratuities you're going to be paying, it also says this in the FAQ in the above link:

If I upgrade to a higher category stateroom, will I have to pay a gratuity amount based on the new upgraded category?

Yes, by upgrading to a higher stateroom category, each guest in the booking may be subject to a higher gratuity amount. The Offer Amount does not include the higher gratuity. If the Offer is accepted, the difference between the original and upgraded stateroom gratuities (if applicable) will be automatically applied to all guests (the "Additional Charges").

So pretty much the cost of the upgrade was for the cabin, dining in Luminae and access to the various Retreat facilities.

No.    Your perks from original booking stay with you but if there are additional ammeneties with the Suite -  e.g. RS or PS where you have everything included you get the free laundry, 2 bottles of booze free Specialty Dining etc.     If you don't have a drink package you will not get one as part of the upgrade.

You might want to call up the retreat lounge and ask about just upgrading directly. If there's availability, chances are the price will be similar to our even less than the move-up bid. If you upgrade directly, you get all the perks and points, and you even get to choose your room (if there's more than one).
