Fort Lauderdale and Miami both have clinics that do rapid PCR and rapid antigen tests. Miami in the domestic departures and Fort Lauderdale at baggage claim terminal 3 . you can take a rapid antigen here in Canada to get to the states and then get a rapid antigen test as soon as you arrive at the airport . Results for antigen in half an hour . That would cover you for the cruise. you an actually book an appt to get the test when you arrive . Just go to airport website . When first opened, the FLL testing service operated by Nomi Health was announced as being available anyone who could provide proof of travel plans to or from FLL. Since then, I've read numerous posts indicating that these test facilities are now only for the use of outbound passengers. If you attempt a booking on the Nomi Health website, you must provide details of your flight, and the Origin Airport defaults to FLL. You can't override it to enter another Origin Airport and FLL as the Destination Airport. Bookings: https://testing.nomihealth.com/easy_registration/34/onsite While a valuable resource for those passengers whose cruise lines don't provide a PCR test for your return to Canada, they can't help you with your pre-embarkation testing. Nomi Health also provides the testing for the Miami airport with the same restriction, outbound passengers only.
debs0712 Posted October 6, 2021 #27 Share Posted October 6, 2021 We are staying at the Intercontinental hotel in Miami before our January cruise. I got in touch with the concierge and they have arranged for someone to come to the hotel for our Covid tests. It isn’t the cheapest but it is hassle free.
