travel dates confusion

Hi there, apologies as we are newbies to cruising.  We have booked the p and o Brittania Xmas cruise for this year.  Does anyone know how long it takes to get from Birmingham to Barbados on the flights please? Also what time the flights arrive back into Birmingham on the 31st Dec / 1st Jan. 

Would also be interested in hearing about the drinks package...the ultimate package.   Are we allowed to take drinks with us on board?  Just trying to work out what is best for myself, husband, grown up daughter and teenage son (non drinker).  Thank you in advance and would also be great to hear from others who are travelling on the same ship over this Xmas.

Normally about 9hr to get there and 8.5 hours back dur to the jet stream tail winds.

You are allowed to take on board one litre of alcohol per person ( wine or spirits )

The decision about buying the package deoends very much on your alcohol consumption. The point to note is that every adult  in the cabin has to purchase it.

Just did a dummy booking - yes you can fly from BHX.
