Ever had a cabin changed without notice.

YET, the cruise contract we all agree to, allows the cruise line to change it. Obviously they have to keep the same or better category. Fortunately this is a rare occurrence.

I once heard, but i  don’t recall where, that the same is true on airlines. You’re buying passage, not the particular seat.

Certainly true on airlines, especially due to aircraft changes, flight number changes, etc.  I have never had my cabin changed by any cruise company, but my airline seats changes are frequent.
