Shore excursions in Cape Canaveral

Anyone know why no excursions are showing for this port?

I keep checking and not finding anything either.   My cruise is the end of January.

I'm seeing excursions for my cruise that's sailing next week.  And also the one sailing early December.  But none for my late March cruise.

If the rental car places are open again, there is a lot to see within an hour or so drive. Daytona to the north..including a big outlet mall, the Speedway, or the wonderful zoo in Melbourne to the south. Lots of nice eating and shopping at the same exit. 

West to the swamp airboat places, probably cheaper than the ship tour.

 

There are other ideas if you scroll through the Florida pages. The state gov't is against mask or vax mandates, so places are wide open, should you choose to explore Central Florida on your own

I had an excursion booked to tour Kennedy Space Center for my Nov 14, 2021 cruise and just received notice today that it was cancelled for "operational reasons."   Looking at getting a car service to take us back and forth.

I was surprised to not see any transportation only options for Disney.

With Blue Origin and SpaceX launching rockets from Florida, tours will be suspended around those operations.

 

We took the tour last week, which was GREAT, but did have to wait for a SpaceX booster rocket to cross the road at one point.

Nothing showing for my Harmony cruise arriving back at Port Canaveral on 23 January. We've been hoping to do a Cape Canaveral space tour followed by a drop off at Orlando airport. We've got a 6.25pm flight back to the UK so we've got a full day to fill.

Guided. We hit all the stops "included" in the brochure we got from KSC.

None for ours for April. Curious if they'll offer the disney option as we'll have our little ones with us. The transportation only option would kinda make the bubble moot wouldn't it?

Did you enjoy the guided tour?  We're thinking about taking that one since it's not that much more than the one that just provides transportation.  But it's 8 hours vs 4.5 hours.

It's a busy day. Short bus trip to the Saturn V museum and back. Hour break for lunch on your own. We had a couple of scooter riders in our group which took some time getting on/off the buses. Our guide DID get us in the back way when a couple of the lines were a little long. I'd do it again.
