Four Points on Cocoa Beach

Has anyone stayed here recently?  We have 2 nights there before our cruise out of Port Canaveral.  It doesn't say anything about paying for parking but in the reviews it talks about a parking garage over the pool area.  

The reviews are mixed, so I'm hoping its a nice place.  Are there a lot of places around there?  (Restaurants, activities). We've always sailed out of Fort Lauderdale

it's next to Ron Jon surf shop and across the street from a grocery .. . right on "the strip"

 

plenty of food places with a couple of blocks walk and the port side places are 5 miles away (easy drive)

I've never stayed at the Four Points Cocoa Beach, but it gets pretty solid reviews on TripAdvisor from veteran posters and similar reviews on Google. Based on that if I was looking for a hotel in CB, the Four Points would be a contender.

We have stayed at the Four Points hotel by RonJon's.  It is a great hotel...close to everything, and a restaurant/bar in the hotel with a large Shark Tank...cool!  However, we recently went to Cocoa Beach and stayed in the Best Western on the beach (not too far from Four Points).  We had a beachfront room.  Very clean and the front desk personnel were wonderful...fyi, the hotel is just a walk down the beach from a pier, with shops (always shops) and a restaurant/bar at the end of the pier.  Also, right across from the hotel was a nice Cajun themed restaurant/bar with outside dining and entertainment.  We spent a good amount of our time there.  Enjoy your stay in Cocoa Beach!
