Former Pacific Princess cabins (see below)

If anyone has sailed on the Pacific Princess (before she was sold) in aft wake cabins (7116-7121) (8069 - 8066) and (6090 - 6093), would you please share your thoughts about likes/dislikes.  We are contemplating doing a cruise on the Azamara Onward and hoping to book one of the above cabins.

DH is wondering if there were engine vibrations, soot on the balcony or as I saw mentioned elsewhere exhaust gases.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.   Be well, everyone - what a joy it is to be able to go back to sailing!

We were in 7108 for a 6 week cruise and did not hear any complaints. We have booked the same cabin for 2 cruises in 2023. This was our favourite ship and can't wait to sail on the "Onward "

Celestial Navigator, go to the Azamara board.  The second item is the Azamara Cabins Thread.  There is a very comprehensive list of cabin reviews.  There will be reviews for each category and location you are looking for.  You will love Azamara!

We’ve stayed in both 6090 and 6093 and would do so again in a heartbeat. The balcony is a bit larger than the standard balcony cabin. Also, it’s very quiet there - the only people there are your immediate neighbors. Now, the wifi was slow there on Princess. The routers were around the corner a bit and since there is quite a lot of structural steel, so signal left a bit to be desired. It was much faster if you stepped into the corridor. You are directly above the dining room, but the only time we heard anything was during the Baked Alaska parade when they cranked up the music.

We were in 8069 for a 17 day transatlantic cruise in 2018. We were right below the outside seating of the Panorama Buffet. We had no noise issue, although there was some chair noise in the morning. We don't recall any soot issues during that cruise.  The views from that cabin were spectacular. I would not hesitate to occupy that cabin again, given the chance.

We were in a full aft suite on the Tahitian Princess (sister to Pacific Princess)many years ago.  It was our first cruise and we didn't have anything to compare it to or knew how lucky we were.  Again, I don't remember the cabin, but it was a full aft suite and it still is the best suire we ever booked.  ! 1/2 bathrooms !  Wrap around balcony !!!!!  Separate living room.  Huge !  The best.    We always think fondly of that cabin !  Happy sailing !

Thanks for this information!  We are in 6090 on the Oceania Sirena in February (same ship class as the former Pacific Princess).  I am looking forward to the larger balcony.
