What Is The Latest Port Nassau Information

I was curious as to what is the latest port info in Nassau.

We were in Nassau port back in July and absolutely nothing was opened.

The port was under extensive construction, no kiosks or stalls selling souvenirs, Señor Frogs was closed.

We will be porting in Nassau for our next cruise sometime during the itinerary, Celebrity Constellation, Nov 22-Dec 3, 2021.

Any info would be much appreciated !

Any updates? Bumping this up. Will be there in December and curious as to how how Nassau is. Is the straw market open yet? Stores on Bay street? Thanks!!

We were just there last week. The straw market was not open. There were some restaurants/bars open along Bay Street, but many were still closed. We walked around the city for a few hours then headed over to Junkanoo beach and did some snorkeling.

How was the snorkeling? Did you walk to Junkanoo beach?

You can walk to Junkanoo but since downtown is basically closed, better to just grab a cab.  They really need the $$$ anyway.  It's probably about a mile walk if you decide to walk it.  Junkanoo is worth it.  Snorkeling is ok but it's a fun little beach with good food and cold beer... 🙂

We walked to the beach (we had already walked around the city on our own) and then walked to the ship.

Like MrCoachRentz said, the snorkeling was okay and the beach is nice/fun. There wasn't a lot but we still enjoyed it for a couple hours.
