I had to cancel Glory for 10/17, on Horizon 12/26 and 10 days on Valor 7/25/2022. I know you said Horizon has gelato in the lunch buffet. Was wondering if Glory and Valor also have gelato?

BTW: That picture of the old factory with the dual smokestacks reminds me of the cover of Pink Floyd's Animals.

I doubt it, but will ask/look. I did enjoy the frozen yogurt yesterday.

Backing up, embarkation did seem a little messed up. There weren't enough people working, it seemed, although that might have created more bottlenecks. One issue were those who showed up without the proper documentation.

 

Security didn't bat an eye at the wine in my carry on, although they should have. At the same time I saw a bottle of unopened gatorade confiscated. Go figure. I did learn that they don't inspect mini-cokes and such. Apparently the booze smugglers haven't been able to fake those, yet. But yes, smugglers are another issue that can slow things down.

Crown Royal is available in the duty free shop, but not in the bars on board (bob). Duty free manager had heard there is a shortage of Crown and Hennessy expected by Christmas. Of course, he may be overstocked.

They will show the World Series on the big screen tonight. I won't be watching.

Can you tell me if there is more than one casino?  I read that on a lot of ships they have created a 2nd one for social distancing (and usually non-smoking).

One casino - combo smoking and not. Seems to works well.
