84 points so far (28 of which came from an L&S cruise) and will pick up another 28 in two weeks (from another L&S cruise).

I can't speak directly about RCI, but things worked fine on Celebrity when I booked during the double points promotion there and then repriced after it was over.

 

One thing, though.  Make sure you have a document that supports you (i.e., the Guest Copy with the booking date on it).  I ended up having to make a phone call to get the double points.  They had to verify a few things.  I ended up not needing it after all, but it made things a little easier (and it was peace of mind while on hold during the verification).

 

Frankly, you always want that Guest Copy, but here's another reason why.

Thank you for that info.  I still have the original booking invoice that shows date it was booked and the same booking number on it, so I am hoping we won't have any issues.  Will try to call Royal shortly, but didn't have spare time to wait earlier to see what kind of answer I may get.
