Comfort Inn and Suites South, Dania Beach?

Has anyone stayed here recently, please? If so, what places to eat are walkable from here? Publix or other super market?

The hotel is located on Federal Highway, just south of Fort Lauderdale/ Hollywood International Airport. The closet Publix Supermarket is a good twenty minute walk south on Federal Highway to Sheridan Street, which is right on the Hollywood border.  The closest places to eat are Grampas Restaurant and Jaxsons Restaurant which are a few blocks south of the hotel. Grampa’s was recently reopened after a massive renovation of the entire property. The breakfast options are great and they also have a bakery inside of the restaurant. Jaxsons is a hotdog and hamburger place. It’s well known for its extensive ice cream dessert menu. Jaxson’s opened back in 1957.
