Parking at Port of Miami

Yes, I have done so.  When I sailed on MSC Meraviglia from Terminal F, I parked at Garage J.  Traffic in the Port is chaotic; patience is needed.  But, the Garage was near the Terminal and had lots of room for cars.  After disembarkation, once I got to the Garage after the cruise, the exit out of the Garage and on my way to Fort Lauderdale was easy and quick.  Quite different than when I arrived in the Port.

Since you live in Michigan, you probably are interested in getting on I-95.  When you leave the Port, you will be on US 1.  Take US 1 to the Port Everglades exit for I-595 and then connect with I-95.  US 1 will have lots of stop/go traffic because of traffic lights, but the traffic will probably be much lighter and less chaotic than I-95 in Miami.  I have driven on I-95 in Miami once and I will never do it again!

Thank you.  We usually stay in Miami, leave the car at hotel but I want to avoid driving in Miami. Staying in Fort Lauderdale.  Really liked it better when Seabourn sailed out of Fort Lauderdale.
