LISBON TO CAPE TOWN Nov 12, 2022 - no free tours in Cape Verde

We signed up for our tours for SHINING CAPITALS OF WEST AFRICA | Nov 12, 2022 | Seven Seas Voyager cruise tonight. We got all that we wanted except that there are no free tours in Cape Verde.

 

Do I have to check every day to see if any have been added? What is our best course of action?

 

Also, are we notified if new tours are added or our selected tours are removed?

We did this trip in 2018 on the Explorer - great cruise BTW.

 

When we first went to book our excursions (it was six months from departure at that point), there was nothing in Cape Verde bar the car hire you're currently seeing.  

 

Eventually three free and one fairly low-cost trips were added - I think our TA advised us - we chose one that included a dance and musical performance - the Cape Verdean's are proud of their musical heritage and their national icon is Cesária Évora, well worth listening to🎶.

We got ours too but was able to do it while onboard the Explorer- Wifi was OK

@Turn 8A, we are booked on a Grand Voyage in September 2022 and we’re able to book our excursions 2.5 months ago.  Three ports didn’t show excursions on the  original booking date.  We continue to go back to check if excursions have been posted.
