JsEscape2 Posted December 8, 2021 #26 Share Posted December 8, 2021 Dear Tennant We took our grandkids, 7, 5, and 2. on the NCL Dawn to Bermuda. It has a great "water park" for little kids aft. Slides, shower, wading pool. Kids loved it. Not as involved as the water slides for the bigger kids. Easy, not so scary.
bigrednole Posted December 8, 2021 #27 Share Posted December 8, 2021 I can guess why they are looking at NCL over DCL. We looked at doing DCL, but I didn't want to sell a lung, kidney, and take a second mortgage on my home.

Our children are/will be fully potty trained when we cruise. I would hope so, they will probably all be at school by the time NCL allow unvaccinated children onboard. It’s more likely that all children will be able to get vaccinated and NCL will require it.

I doubt toddlers will be vaccinated any time soon, if ever, there is a strong argument for vaccinating school children but not for a toddler who won't be going anywhere to get infected. It's down to Ballance of risk and toddlers represent almost zero risk.

Oceanwench Posted December 9, 2021 #32 Share Posted December 9, 2021 My grandkids loved Escape and Bliss. Lots to do, great water slides, etc. When they were babies, they went to Guppies on Escape when the adults went to specialty restaurants.

Not to create. However, we see toddlers going out daily with parents to many places. I don't believe toddlers are immune to C19.

Preschool gets shut down for a week if a kid tests positive.

The aft kids water parks on Dawn and Star have been removed and replaced with Spice H2O. The water slide near the main pool has also been removed on these ships.
