Post covid19 activities onboard your cruise?

We’re chopping at the bit to cruise again! But we’re very concerned about levels of activities onboard! Our last cruise was on Bliss February 2020 just before covid19, an excellent time dancing and partying with staff and fellow passengers!

Anyone who has cruised post covid19 have information on activities scheduled now?

The only real differences I noticed after the restart:

  1. The whole testing thing before boarding
  2. Wear masks on dry land most of the time
  3. Buffet staff is more assertive about having everyone wash or disinfect their hands
  4. Le Bistro has a new menu and the profiteroles are gone

Only the fourth had any negative impact on my enjoyment onboard. I loved the profiteroles.

Otherwise, everything is as busy - and familiar - as before.

Thanks so much for information! We were thinking about a Royal Caribbean cruise, but your info has us back on NCL! Greatly appreciate!

We have also been on a couple of Royal cruises. Their evening entertainment leave a lot to be desired right now. Folks have said that you could print the entire evening entertainment schedule on a business card, and that is really true. (Activities with a "(V)" are for vaccinated passengers only, all other activities include unvaxxed passengers. Masks are required in all indoor public areas at all times. Masks are required at shows where unvaxxed passengers can attend).

Examples from a few nights on our Caribbean cruise...

Day 1  - I guess the comedians in the theater are the highlight of the night

Night 2 - Adult Table Tennis is the go-to activity

Night 3 - I guess we can go out on deck in the rain to see a movie

Thanks so much for your information! We love activities, dancing, Zumba, etc. We might go out with NCL as they have many more activities.
