Johnny Rockets is the one thing Anthem ruined.  It is only open for breakfast on the Oasis class.

on Anthem it is basically outside by the pool deck, no indoor fun.

The most fun we ever had at Johnny Rockets was on the Explorer back when it was “The” ship in Bayonne.  All the servers were on roller skates and they were extremely entertaining. We always ate lunch there on sea days, and it was packed with a line to get a seat.
Kind of a let down down now on Anthem after that. We just walk by it …

Hello everyone and good day.  I had a great time today at CocoCay. This was the third time I have been since October, and I can't wait to come back next week. It is a beautiful place that offers something for everyone.

I was speaking with the attendant today at the Coco Beach Club, and she was delightful. She suggested that her and 400 others live on CocoCay. She said you can always tell who lives there. "If they are wearing a pink or blue polo shirt, then they are part of the CocoCay crew (plus all of the lifeguards live there)"

It was also suggested that there are 2 ships in CocoCay almost every day in November and December.

We had a great relaxing time and enjoying the Coco Beach Club. The lunch served was wonderful. I enjoyed a filet and lobster tail.
I highly recommend the fruit sorbet for dessert. It was the best.

The weather was sunny most of the day with the temperature reading about 75F. We are scheduled to leave at 6:00 p.m. and we will be arriving in Nassau, Bahamas tomorrow morning.

Here are a few pics from today. Thanks for tuning in.

What hotel do you stay at in New Jersey?

I stayed at Courtyard Marriott in Elizabeth New Jersey. There are several hotels right in that area including Residence inn, Embassy suites, Country inn & suites.

Have scheduled trip in February, 2022. Would like to know if the  Japanese restaurant does hibachi?

No, Izumi does not offer that on Anthem of the Seas.

Good Morning. Welcome to DAY 5 of  "LIVE" from Anthem of the Seas. We arrived in Nassau this morning at about 6:30 a.m. and we were tied up to the pier by 7:00 a.m. The forecast for today is nice. Sunny skies with no rain and 79F.

We should be joined in Nassau today by Independence of the Seas, Carnival Sunshine and Scarlet Lady.

I don't have any specific plans for Nassau, but I may just explore and see what I can find.

I may go to a much needed Seminar today at Vitality Spa (How to Look 10 Years Younger).

Passengers will be able to go ashore at 8:00 a.m.  All passengers must be on board by 5:30 p.m.

Here are a few pics from today. Thanks for tuning in.

Did she also suggest what the living arrangements are like on the island?  I've wondered if people get their own room, share with another person like in a cabin, or if they live in a dorm style building.  I'm guessing with 400 people, there are at least some dorms that sleep many people in one room.

Sorry, that is a good question but I did not ask. I will be there next week and tried to find out.

We're doing a TA next year, and I was wondering if the Anthem has a library that's open, and if so, if it's decent?

Thank you 😊

Funny you should ask, we are currently on Anthem and I went looking for the library today to leave a book I finished. It’s tucked way back in a corner in the back of 270. I thought it was rather small and there were very few books in there.

Interesting question, Bob!  Looking forward to Radio's answer when he arrives back at Coco Cay next week.

I have a question for the person, I am guessing it is Radio...on the Anthem...is the board where you post notes to other people still near the café on the promenade where they serve the Starbucks coffee?

I've not seen any board like that.

Hello everyone and good day. The weather today was spectacular. Beautiful sunny skies, with a light breeze and a high of 86f. I overheard some passengers saying that it was too hot . . . "Oh the humanity"

I loved the weather today. Some things however, didn't go too smooth for me. My brother and I left the ship around 11:00 a.m. this morning. We made it through the "Passenger terminal area" out into the streets of downtown Nassau.

The electric scooter I am using decided that it was no longer going to work. Yes, that's right, no juice, no power, no nothing. And yes, the battery was fully charged. There must have been some type of other electrical issues.

My intention today was to go to Margaritaville. (Next to the British Colonial Hilton) That didn't work out so well. I made it back to the ship. After watching news for about 2 hours, I got a call from my brother who decided to go to Margaritaville solo.

He was able to get a few images which I will be happy to show you. Maybe next week when I am in Nassau things work a little better.

We are now headed back to Bayonne, New Jersey. I am not so happy that the captain said we are heading back to New York, but I get it . . . It is the New York area. Anyway, we will arrive at Cape Liberty on Sunday morning.

Anthem of the Seas has supplied me with the information for consecutive cruisers.(B2B cruisers)

Here are a few pics from today. Thanks for tuning in.
