I'm seeing a variety of information regarding texting.

 

If I don't have an internet package, is there a way that I can text others on the ship? - maybe using the Royal app? (I have android)

We have a balcony cabin and I use a CPAP. Is there a power outlet at, or near, the head of the bed in those cabins?

Diamond Plus will get 5 per day, and Diamond Members will get 4 per day.

Hi, guys.  I checked in for our January Anthem cruise.  We got 11:30 checkin.  I now noticed the App has a section that says pick a time for wellness checkin, which starts at 12.  Do I need to check this since our setsail pass has 11:30?? Confused.  THANKS

Yes, there is an electrical outlet at the head of the bed on the right side, just under the wall lamp.

No, the wellness check in is when you arrive at the Terminal, they will take your temperature, and make sure you filled out the health questionnaire.

Thanks, I guess the app is crazier than me!  I checked in under the regular account, not the app then I saw the Wellness check time thing which is later than checkin.😳I did not want to check noon and have it mess up my regular checkin time!!!!

With an Android the only way will be for you and everyone else you want to text to purchase the chat feature on the app, which is $1.99/day per person.

@Radio If you are an one of the "EVENTS" can you ask what the capacity for Holiday sailings are going to be.

 

Someone who was on last weeks sailing asked the Captain at one of the the tier EVENETS and he stated "we are sailing at 3900 passenger's"  Any more solid info would be appreciated!

We are currently sailing with 2971 passengers, which includes 150 children. The Captain suggested that the count for the Thanksgiving Cruise was over 750 children.

Yes, someone reported that iMessage texts work without a Voom package.

I'm not sure about the iMessage loophole since I use Android.

Thanks for all the extremely informative and very helpful information.  We and the family are on the Dec. 24 Xmas cruise.  Is it possible to determine the anticipated total of booked passengers and of that total how many are children?

 

By the wa, RCL has changed the testing rule for un-vacinnated ages 2-11 starting Dec. 11. PCR before and rapid antigen at check in.

I will be heading north tomorrow to stay at my pre-cruise hotel at Elizabeth, NJ. On Sunday I will take the short ride over to sail on Anthem of the Seas from Cape Liberty. I recently posted “LIVE” from Oasis of the Seas on Oct 3, 2021 for a B2B from Cape Liberty. This will be the same itinerary, but on a much different class of ship. (Quantum Class).

 

I have sailed on Quantum class ships several times (Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas) and I am looking forward to sailing once again. I will again be sailing for 14 nights, but the weather may be a little colder in late Nov/early Dec.

 

I have read several reviews about issues on Anthem of the Seas, such as the internet not working, shows being cancelled and food quality. I am pretty easy to please and try to stay positive, but I will see if any of these concerns are present on my sailings.

 

I will attempt to post daily images of life on board this magnificent ship, and I am hoping for a very good wireless connection.

 

My Covid Test today was =Negative=, so I am ready to sail.

 

I am hoping for good weather next week, and I am looking forward to entering the Passenger Terminal at Cape Liberty on November 28, 2021.

Do you know if texting to other passengers is free if you already have the voom package? 

Or do you have to buy the $1.99/day also?

 

 

Also-  where is the indoor pool in relation to the solarium? They look to be in the same place but the solarium is for (V) and indoor poor is for (E).
