I don't know how @DELTABLUE does it.   I started work on the chart last Saturday.  As soon as I posted it, I was bombarded with all the updates, corrections, spell checks, CD love and hate, and inquiries about CD whereabouts.  I'm going crazy already! lol

How do we verify the information submitted on this thread?

In general, how do we verify information passed on to us by other cruisers?   Is it rude to ask, "Are you on the ship right now?"  or "When was your sailing?"

I accept what is offered and post it as is, until and unless it is proven unreliable.  Don't think anyone would intentionally mislead us.  You may do what you feel comfortable doing.  I do this as a consolidation of info provided and not a research project.

I appreciate what you do. I asked the question to find out what I can do to avoid posting the wrong information myself.

 

I’m not questioning the information being provided here.  But I would like to be able to “screen” information being posted on my social media profiles and messenger apps before posting them here.

That would be good to have, but RCL tends to be secretive about stuff.  I have a very reliable source who doesn’t want to be quoted and I gave my word that I wouldn’t.

 

I just feel a bit burned at the moment because someone messaged me and said they had private communications with a certain cruise director.  I passed on the information they gave here but it turns out, the said CD might not even be the CD on that ship.

I think most of your followers are aware that this is a 'fluid' guide and not cast in stone.  Even when assigned to a ship, there are often internal changes.  Thank you for all you have been doing.
