Charleston Excursion

My family and I will be visiting Charleston, SC in April.  We have 3 kids ages 11, 11, and 13.  Other than bus and walking tours and boats around the harbor, are there any other recommendations anyone can make for an excursion?  I noticed that the South Carolina Aquarium appears to be within walking distance.

Thanks

When we have company visiting and take them into Charleston for the day....

1.   we have done a 2 hour walking tour downtown

2.   Walked the buildings in what some call the old slave market (Market Street)......many vendors selling local stuff

3.  Walked around the Battery area, find the row of houses painted in different pastel colors.

4. Aquarium

5. There's a 2 hour boat trip that cruises the harbor...starts out near the area where the new African  American museum will be

6.  Visited the Charlrston Museum...kind of across from the big Visitors  Center

7.  Taken a carriage ride...they start on Market Street...fun

8.  Walk along King Street....good ice cream shops

Loads of other stuff
