Looking for day tour out of Honolulu

I’m interested in which companies pick up at the port.  They seem to all state that the pick up in Waikiki and very early.  Has anyone done this?  Are taxis waiting to take you?  Are companies allowed to pick up at the port?

You can try and engage a company like Charley's Taxi, Hawaii23, maybe G0 808 Express. They will all pick up any place and do tours, but I know all three have had issues getting drivers.

 

If you just want a cab to go into Waikiki or Pearl Harbor, etc, yes there is a taxi line.

Yes, they're allowed to pick up and drop off at the port. 

 

I can personally recommend E Noa Tours.  They've reduced the number of tours they're currently offering due to Covid but when we used them pre-Covid on two different cruises, they picked us up and dropped us off directly in front of the Port building in Honolulu.  You should definitely check with them to see what they're currently doing.
