Changing vax rules for kids?

How has MSC been handling the bookings when their vax rules have changed?  We are taking an unvaxed eight  year old grandchild with us. Would we have our $ returned if she can't sail?

It depends on how far out you are from your cruise when the rules change and if there has already been enough time for the child to be vaccinated for the cruise departure date.

 

You may only be offered an FCC if there has been enough time to meet vaccination requirements and someone has opted out of the readily available vaccine.

I just checked with MSC and they can't say what their future policies might be. Since this is not our child, we can't force vaccination.  Thanks for your response.

I understand about the vaccination.

 

Just saying that over the last six months MSC policy on FCCs and refunds seems to depend on the current conditions at the time a policy or cruise was impacted.
