Why can’t cruise companies make noiser cabins below main food areas cheaper?

Why would one book a cabin in such a location knowing that there is likely to be noise heard from the food preparation area?

Carnival used to price the cabins below the nightclub cheaper after receiving many complaints about the noise, though I am not sure if they still do that. I believed that they called it a "night owl" cabin!!!

Yes they did! I booked one on the Miracle way back in the day was near one of the nightclubs.  Since returning back to the cabin most nights very late wasn't an issue and last night of the cruise closed early.

Now I wouldn't, but need to have an argeement of noise issue.
