Encore V1 Balconies

I have read about Quest balconies being somewhat view limited.  What about the Encore ?  We booked aV1 GUAR and are hooping we get that double ste upgrade.

I just booked with that deal as well.  My confirmation says V3 guarantee, I paid the V1 price--so you need to be sure you clicked on the box for the double upgrade deal.

I was wondering how this worked also.  When you purchase the room do get get an assigned room at the higher level or just luck of the draw at some point?

 

Also if I buy the second highest Veranda do I get a Penthouse suite?

My understating is that the deal is only operable for the V category of suites, but I could be wrong on that obviously.

Yes I've looked at a few and it appears that way.

As a Solo, I was denied the upgrade from a V Guarantee. I guess the previous posters are all 2-2-a suite.
