best way to get to maya chen

You can, but they pick you up if you have a reservation

They picked us up and brought us back.

We were there about two weeks ago on the Serenade and went there in the van/bus arranged and paid for by the Maya Chan representative just outside the port gate.

 

On our ride back to the port, we were with two other couples that had taken individual taxis getting there.  Both couple said there ride going there in the small taxis were far more rough than the van/bus.  

 

They are completely transparent with respect to the bumpy ride!

Why would you not want to go in the supplied transportation (which is also a taxi-van)???

I have been to Maya Chan many times. Sometimes I took the supplied transportation and other times  I took my own taxi which Maya Chan paid for.

Either way, it’s one of the best beach excursions we’ve ever done. The food was outstanding and the beach area was great.
