alangee Posted December 27, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2021 (edited) My wife and I have a back-to-back cruise scheduled for February/March and are still debating whether or not we will travel or postpone. What we've been reading so far is that it is not "cruising as usual." That's to be expected during a pandemic. One of my questions right now is how are everyone getting along with one another? This pandemic has become so political. On our last cruise in February 2020 politics was slowly beginning to seep into the cruise and some animosity was beginning to rear its ugly head in conversations about the virus. How are things now? Has it gotten better or worse? Edited December 27, 2021 by alangee
zoepipes Posted December 27, 2021 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2021 All you need to do is start reading posts where the virus is mentioned and you'll be able to answer that question yourself. . . 😞

Not worth the hassle, plenty of other things to talk about Edited December 27, 2021 by sgmn 6
Pratique Posted December 27, 2021 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2021 I just spent a week on jury duty with a bunch of strangers. Despite being crammed in a small conference room we managed to keep our conversations politics-free. When we started deliberations they told us we couldn't leave the room even during lunch. I told the deputy there was no way for us to eat while sitting shoulder to shoulder and still follow the court's mask requirement. They agreed to move us to a larger room for lunch. Everyone seemed okay with it. So I still have hope we can keep it civil. At least on the ship you can walk away from a bad conversation.
