sakigemcam Posted January 1, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2022 Happy New Year, Fellow Cruisers! We've been on numerous X cruises and I always treat myself to a wonderful facial, at least. Our last cruise was March 2020 and it seems since then they've changed all their facial services to Elemis, and prices have gone up. Pls correct me if I'm wrong. I've always pre-booked when prices were lower, and prefer the popular sea days for services. For our upcoming March 2022 cruise, prices are pretty high on sea days so I'm wondering if due to reduced capacity they are offering onboard discounts, and I should just wait to reserve. Any other spa strategies appreciated - we are pretty much in need of every service about now. 🤪
jelayne Posted January 1, 2022 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2022 I booked a facial when we were on the Edge. Made the appointment when we were on the ship and used our Captains Club discount. I didn’t see any other deals on the ship.
CruiseNYC Posted January 2, 2022 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2022 On the Millennium in December, I booked a hot stone massage the first day of our cruise. I also booked a seaweed wrap for later in the week and was given a $50 credit for the second service. Both were fantastic. I’d highly recommend. I had a facial, too, and the aesthetician was more interested in selling product than anything else. I thought the facial was worthless and, again, after she was done, she tried to sell me thousands of dollars of product. Very disappointing.
