Enchantment 2/13/06 Review

I can't wait to flip!! Were the trampolenes open all the time or just at certain hours?

Misty

The trampolines were open for a few hours at a time (usually 9-11, then again for a few hours in the afternoon). The best time to use them was while the ship was in port, as they were often open right around sailaway - even on the 1st day!...they can't be used during wet or windy conditions, so they were sometimes closed when we were at sea (but the climbing wall was still open:) ). There was never a crowd there on our cruise (canada/new england in the fall). You do need socks for both the trampolines and the climbing wall.

Here are the pictures, as promised:

Thanks for the great reviews. We are doing the same itinerary the last week in March.

When you wait in line for the tendering tickets, can 1 person get 5 tickets, or does your whole group need to wait in line? What time do you recommend leaving Paradise Beach to give us enough time for the cab ride and the tender back to the ship?

Thanks in advance and keep the great reviews coming.

Great question. It was announced that they wanted only one person from each party in line for tickets. Most groups did this and the line was still really long.

I would recommend leaving Paradise Beach no later than 5:30 PM. The last tender is at 6:30 PM. This gives you a cushion in case something were to happen on the way back. Nothing happened for us so we just spent the extra 30 minutes doing a little last minute shopping at the waterfront.

Sorry it has taken me a while to post another review. I returned home to taxes waiting on me. I have spent the last week trying to get our taxes ready for the account. We own our own business so it is quite difficult to do.

Night 3:

After returning from Cozumel, we had a very busy evening. We spent a little time relaxing on deck before heading to our room to change for dinner. We were both so tired we ended up taking a nap before dinner. We had a very full evening planned so I was happy to have the rest.

We dressed for dinner after our nap and headed to the dining room. For dinner tonight I enjoyed Creamy Garlic Soup, Salad, and Garlic Tiger Shrimp and my H enjoyed Minnestrone Soup, Salad, and the shrimp as well. Both dinners were again wonderful. After dinner we headed to the Orpheum for the Love and Marriage Game show. It was so funny. They had newlyweds, an older couple, and a couple from KY. They all were really funny for their own reasons. The older couple was funny because they are still hot and steamy after all this time. The newlyweds were funny because they were sickening sweet to each other. But my favorite was the couple from KY. I live in TN and was raised in KY. One thing about people from KY is they say what they think without mincing words. I loved it.

After dinner we headed up to the pool deck for some dancing under the stars. Heat Wave was playing again and the moon was full. It was very romantic to be dancing together in that environment. They also had a midnight poolside buffet. We enjoyed seeing all of the creations but didn’t eat anything. We were still too full from dinner.

After dancing on the deck we made our rounds to all of the nightclubs. There wasn’t much happening because of the pool party. We headed to a little gambling in the casino. I couldn’t resist the temptation to play my favorite slot machine. After one more stroll around the promenade deck we turned in for the evening.

Next review: Belize

Thank you for the review!

My husband and I will be doing the same itinerary April 24th. his first cruise and my sixth (but first on RCI).

I was so pleased to hear there was such a large number of passengers wearing tuxedos and formal dresses - after sailing on Cunard's ships for the past five years I thought I was going to have to give up that formality on this ship. Looks like we'll get to dress to the nines here too!
