JoeFan Posted January 27, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2022 Hi, Has anyone done the Marvel Day at Sea this year? I am looking for feedback on your experience. Mostly if the experiences are the same or have been severly cut. I know capacity is way down but how are the lines and waits?
dcassetta Posted February 1, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2022 We did the Jan 17 sailings. It was our 3rd MDAS. The Deck show was excellent and just as good as before. So was the USO Captain America show. They used to let kids participate on stage during the Dr. Strange, but that did not happen. The meet and greets are more distanced. Lots of photo opportunities, no hugs or autographs. We saw everyone except Gamora. Lots of Marvel trivia on MDAS including two super fan events. On the past two there was a guest artist from Marvel that gave talks, that was gone. We had a great time and although there were differences, the Marvel experiences were still very well done. I think the Deck show is the best thing DCL does as far as special events.

LeeW Posted February 25, 2022 #5 Share Posted February 25, 2022 This month had lots of distanced photo ops with characters but most Marvel ones were indoors. As a result masks could not be removed for the photos.
