Viva Vino is a wine package, where you get a number of bottles from a list at a discounted price. It doesn't get talked about all that much these days as so many people have the beverage package, but it was still being offered before Covid. I don't know whether it still is. As it isn't discussed much it is often difficult to get up to date info, and if they did discontinue it then we wouldn't necessarily know. If you do a search there are a few discussions with wine lists etc. To the OP, sorry I can't help with whether it is currently offered. I've no reason to think not though.

don't-use-real-name Posted January 30, 2022 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2022 The program is not offered pre-cruise Look for it upon boarding in the Atrium Availability of wines subject change Three tiers of wines My post of 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 For the Viva Vino wine program when you get on board look for a few tables set up in or near the Atrium with an assortment of wine bottles on display. Not finding it ask a crew member. This sales point is usually only available on the day of boarding and the Atrium is not the only place where wine is sold - look around the pool deck. I believe you can order it from Room Service after the first day. As noted it comes in 3 levels of pricing and the minimum purchase is 4 bottles. The bottles are 750ml and give approximately 4 - 6 ounce or 6 - 4 ounce servings. They are all corked - no twist offs. You can have any or all of the bottles delivered to your cabin or let NCL hold them in their wine vault. Left with NCL you are given a paper receipt for each bottle and tender that to waiter who will retrieve the wine and serve it - recork the unused it for another time/place. You should have a corkscrew in your cabin for uncorking it yourself - if not ask you cabin steward for one. Or go to any bar which will open it and provide glasses if none are in your cabin - or ask cabin steward. BEST PART OF THE PROGRAM - "NO CORKAGE FEES" !!!!! An old program wine list from my files - definitely YMMV - a current list is on board at the wine sales point: Circa 2014 VIVA VINO by Norwegian Cruise Line Please list the number of bottles for your selection The Enthusiast 4 Bottles - $88 6 Bottles - $132 8 Bottles - $176 ___ Beringer, Sparkling White Zinfandel – California ___ Lindemans, Bin 90 Moscato – Australia ___ Ruffino, Pinot Grigio – Delle Venezie, Italy ___ De Aureo Spirito, Sauvignon Blanc – Langeudoc, France ___ Woodbridge by Robert Mandavi, White Zinfandel – California ___ Alice White, Chardonnay – Southeastern Australia ___ Colores Del Sol, Malbec – Mandoza, Argentina ___ Ravenswood, “Zen of Zin” Zinfandel – California ___ Errazuriz, “Estate” Merlot – Colchagua Valley, Chile ___ Black Opal, Shiraz/Cabernet – Southern Australia The Aficionado Including selections from the “Enthusiast” category plus the following 4 Bottles - $98 6 Bottles - $146 8 Bottles - $196 ___ Rosemont, Riesling – Southeastern Australia ___ Estancia, Pinot Grigio – California ___ Matua Valley, Sauvignon Blanc – Marlborough, New Zealand ___ Robert Mandavi Private Selection, Chardonnay – California ___ Estancia, Pinot Noir – Monterey, California ___ Rancho Zabaco, “Heritage Vines” Zinfandel – Sonoma, California ___ Sylvester Winery, “Kiara Reserve” Merlot - California ___ Avalon Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley, California The Connoisseur Including selections from the “Enthusiast” and “Aficionado categories plus the following 4 Bottles - $110 6 Bottles - $162 8 Bottles - $216 ___ Dry Creek, Fume Blanc – Sonoma, California ___ Isabel Mandavi, Deep Rose’ – Napa Valley, California ___ Wild Horse, Chardonnay – Central Coast, California ___ Spellbound, Petite Sirah – California ___ Chareau St. Jean, Cabernet Sauvignon – California A 15% gratuity will be added to your check for all beverages orders. lixogab Posted January 31, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted January 31, 2022 I remember I saw it pre-covid. But on my latest cruise ( Breakaway Nov 21) I didn’t recall seeing it. May be I just missed it. I’m planning my next cruise and it looks that $500 for the “free” unlimited drink package is too much for two of us. We are mostly wine drinkers. If viva vino is still there it could be a good option. Otherwise we can bring our wine and pay $15 corkage.

If viva vino is still there it could be a good option. Otherwise we can bring our wine and pay $15 corkage. Consider the Viva Vino package is about $25-30 a bottle (package of 4 $88) No corkage fees or gratuities - tips welcomed You can have the bottles in your stateroom - have the cabin attendant (or Butler) furnish the glasses and a cork screw OR Leave them in the NCL wine vault and when you dine have the/a bottle opened and served with your meal - you can take the remaining amount back to your cabin for later or tell the waiter to return it to the vault for your next dining. Because the wine is stored in a vault (perhaps in or near the galley deck 7? the serving is not readily at your table topside deck 10-11-12-etc. Patience please - Look for the Viva Vino display in the ships Atrium on boarding day - there may also be one in or near the pool deck - the selection of wines usually has the actual bottles to see the label BUT no tasting. You can order the Viva Vino package any day of the cruise but only the first day of the cruise is the display available in the Atrium. Also consider the Corks 'n Caps beverage package - but the wine is by the glass not by the bottle (and therefore not available for personal serving in your stateroom)
wwwfla Posted January 31, 2022 #8 Share Posted January 31, 2022 These wines are about $10, $12, and $15 respectively for the levels. NCL wines are very limited in the beverage packages also. The better wines are being removed from the by- the-glass option available on the beverage packages. I don’t know the solution.
