I received my cabin assignment a few weeks after I booked. About a week ago, I received a new 'booking confirmation' email and saw that my room had changed. It was still the same category, but one deck lower in a better location so I'm happy with this change. I'm about a month and a half from sailing so I wouldn't be surprised if it changes again,

Yes, but keep in mind that you do not get any of the Aurea benefits.  You keep the "Bella" benefits.

I did some investigating and found online (not in the app) that our cabin number  has not been assigned yet. The one I had picked is still in the app.  Maybe my upgrade bid is going through.

I have received e-Tickets with the stateroom that I had originally chosen for the cruise which is 30 days away. But in the manage my booking section, it still says 'Stateroom is not assigned'. Does it mean anything? Any chance of getting a better stateroom?

We are first time MSC cruisers sailing in March (Lirica, Mediterranean). I booked Bella a week ago, and just received a new confirmation including cabin number. This seems awfully early!
