Secure? No.   Then again, what exactly do you mean by secure. In my opinion there is no such thing as a secure public wifi.

I would assume that their network admins have configured some type of client isolation for the passenger wifi network.

Consider security of VOOM about the same as any land based hotel Wi-Fi, except you probably have less folks trying to hack or steal it.

The WiFi on Royal would be considered to be secure under the usual definition since it requires a password to logon. It is not an open hot spot.
