How do you rent Cabanas on the ship?

First time sailing on a ship that has cabanas and wondering how you rent one and can you reserve them before you cruise? thanks for any input..

Yes you may reserve the cabanas before you sale, you call HAL Customer Service.

Take a look at This Link and give Ship Services a call (1st page).  Yes, you can reserve them prior to the cruise but it must be for the duration of the cruise.  If you only want it by the day then you have to wait until you board the ship.

You book through Ship Services in advance for the entire cruise ONLY. You can book one day, or the entire cruise while on board. Just go to the cabana area between 9 and 5. If they have any available.

I’ve never understood why they don’t have online booking, when everything else on board seems to be available to book/buy online. They don’t even make it easy to find how to book.

I checked the link in Post #3. There is no mention of the Rotterdam. Does the Rotterdam not have cabanas?

They have Retreat cabanas - same as Koningsdam & Nieuw Statendam.

That’s the brochure pre-Rotterdam.  As @wdw1972 says, it has the exact same configuration as the Koningsdam & Nieuw Statendam.  If you would like to email HAL Ship Services they may have an updated brochure:
