SoonerDog Posted February 23, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2006 Anyone have any advice on best decks for inside rooms? We'd prefer one where there is easy access to an outside deck. Thanx
wvufan Posted February 23, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2006 Although the configuration is a bit different, we were in cabin 1242 on the Galaxy. It was on the top deck, and the location was great. There is no exact comparable cabin on the Century, but we would opt for an inside on the sky deck. susiegpo Posted February 23, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2006 We were under the pool area in our inside on Century - when the band cranked up on, we could hear it. Also could hear chairs and tables being moved around. I would not suggest that area if you are sound sensitive. Have a wonderful cruise!
spearmint Posted February 23, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2006 Anyone have any advice on best decks for inside rooms? We'd prefer one where there is easy access to an outside deck.Thanx For our first cruise, which was on Century, we had inside cabin 1138. It is at the stern of the ship, with virtually instant access the the outside landing of the stairway which takes you up to the outside back deck, off the Islands Cafe. We felt that with the staircase landing, we really had our own private deck for a drink or a cigarette (I smoked at that time.). Then, in the a.m. especially, it was up one flight to breakfast. We absolutely loved the room's location.
claud925 Posted February 23, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 23, 2006 Without question, Deck 12 on any C-class ship . . . check out the deck plan - - a minimal number of cabins on the entire deck (very quiet and private), and the ones that are not inside cabins are suites! Very exclusive . . .
woody14h Posted February 23, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 23, 2006 Spearmint, thanks for that advice we are in 1124 on the 19th of March. Looking forward to this convenience.
Rare geoherb Posted February 23, 2006 #8 Share Posted February 23, 2006 We were in 9201 on our second Century cruise. It was a great location, right around the corner from the stairs. It's just two flights of stairs away from the pool area and also just a few above the Promenade Deck.
