Stpatsirish Posted February 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2022 (edited) Are Caesars available at the bars? The cocktail, not the salad. I know some cruise lines serve them. Edited February 15, 2022 by Stpatsirish Error

Stpatsirish Posted February 15, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted February 15, 2022 Every Canadian knows what a Caesar is. It is our super delicious version of a Bloody Mary. It is made with Mott’s Clamato juice instead of boring old tomato juice. Lots of Worcestershire and Tabasco. Sometimes with a light meal as the garnish. 1

Axxxefly Posted February 15, 2022 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2022 The answer to the OP is 100% yes. The Mrs. ups her game by only ordering hers with Tito's vodka 🙂 (all included under the UBP umbrella). Note: Garnish generally limited to olives & celery (no free lunch here....) 3
TSUmom Posted February 15, 2022 #6 Share Posted February 15, 2022 My DH was introduced to Caesars a few cruises back by some wonderful Canadians we had met. He now orders that instead of a bloody mary. He found them in the morning at the Atrium Bar and at Osheehans 1
pandncruisers Posted February 15, 2022 #7 Share Posted February 15, 2022 Recently got off the Epic and every morning at the atrium bar I would get a Caesar, the bartender made it to my specifications on the amount of worcestershire & hot sauce that I like. Just love the pickle stuffed olives.

If you get a good bartender, sometimes you get a pickle-stuffed olive too. To the OP: You can definitely get a Caesar on board NCL. Not every bar has Clamato juice, but you will find it at some of the bars. I've always found it at the Casino Bar.

Robkat Posted February 15, 2022 #12 Share Posted February 15, 2022 OMigosh! Just off the Escape this past weekend, and while we had several pretty darn good Bloody Mary's, I never even thought to ask for a Caesar! And I would have loved to have several of those! All if not lost though, now that I've found out that my beloved BC's can be had on NCL, I will definitely partake on our next Escape cruise in November! (wish I'd seen this post though, before this sailing! 😭😭)
luvcruzing Posted February 15, 2022 #13 Share Posted February 15, 2022 Why do Canadians assume that only Canadians know about Bloody Caesars? I had my first one at the Summit Restaurant atop the Renaissance Center in Detroit in 1977 and fell in love with them.

DH had his first BC made by an ex neighbour who was an American from Florida!! DH has had several on several NCL ships. Sometimes I'd have one. 1

I don't think Canadians assume nobody else knows about them but unless you are from a border state, its been rare to find one offered in the US for the last 20 years. They have now made a name for themselves and people from the states no longer look at me like a deer in the headlights when I ask for one. Its kind of like asking for Poutine in Florida. Say whaaaat? Oh.... even that is starting to appear down south now. Some of our great secrets are out.. that makes us happy though!
