Terrene Landing

So we have had all our paperwork for our Memphis-New Orleans sailing next month. Originally, Tuesday 15th we were supposed to be at Greenville but the information states 'Terrene Landing' from 8am until 5pm. What exactly is this please? Thank you

Terrene Landing is just a boat ramp, 38 miles north of Greenville by bus.  Also about 38 miles northwest of the BB King museum at Indianola. Nothing at Terrene Landing itself, just a small village called Rosedale nearby.  AQV must be using it because of a perceived problem at Greenville (low water? city charging too much?)

Here's Terrene Landing last August. We were aboard the American Duchess for the "Mighty Mississippi" cruise.

The Grammy Museum in nearby Cleveland, MS is pretty interesting. (Hop on Hop off stop).

All of the American Queen Voyages boats on the Lower Mississippi River stop in Terrene Landing on the southbound cruises and Greenville on the northbound cruises.

We will be leaving on 3/29 on the American Countess from NOLA to Memphis and received our documents last week.  The Greenville stop has been replaced with Tunica.

My husband and I will be cruising north from NOLA to Memphis and were just informed of this change in itinerary.  I'd like to understand why as it sounds like we will now miss out on the BB King Experience excursion.  They are substituting and additional day in Vicksburg.
