puppymama1 Posted March 16, 2022 #151 Share Posted March 16, 2022 I was so happy that we would only need one test (to get on our Viking ship) instead of two tests now, until a friend told me that as of right now you still need to have a negative test to get on an airplane in the US... is that still correct? magicsoccer Posted March 16, 2022 #152 Share Posted March 16, 2022 The US does not require the test to leave the US, that is dependent on where you are going. As of right now though, the US requires a test to return from International to the US. At least this is how I understand it.
puppymama1 Posted March 16, 2022 #153 Share Posted March 16, 2022 Thank you! We are returning from Alaska, so hopefully no need for a test upon return, but Viking is still doing daily testing and says they will provide you with the necessary test for your return flight... I was just stressing out about having to do two tests each before leaving home....

That is good news, but only air and land arrivals seem to be included. If that’s the case cruisers would still be required to have negative tests.
Urban trekker Posted March 17, 2022 #156 Share Posted March 17, 2022 It was pointed out in another forum that when they listened to the CTV video it mentioned it includes cruise travel as well but we will get the official announcement tomorrow.
