Cancellation Question?

Well, we are scheduled to leave next week and just found out we have a family issue that will cause my wife to cancel her attendance.  But she is very supportive of me going solo as we have many other friends and family going.

 

So, because I spent several hours on hold with Princess yesterday trying to remove her from the cabin, I finally hung up. And I'm not in the mood to do it again today! Does anyone know what would happen if I just showed up at the terminal without her?  I assume this happens all the time.  (I know I can't get a refund on her passage)

I can't speak from personal experience but I can't imagine it being an issue for Princess.  After all...it's "free money" to them.

You might try the "chat" method.  I have had good luck doing that.  Not sure about the hours of operation for that...I *think* it's different from the call center.  But then again if you call in right when they open many people have said there's almost no waiting.  I'd give that a shot today.

You should get back her port taxes at least.  If you have Shareholder credit, I hope it is in your name or that will be lost.

Another thought: you may be able to add a friend/relative in her place. That way you wouldn't lose the fare. Time is running out. IIRC it's up to 3 days before.

You are taking a chance on her not just showing up- might find increase to your bill as a solo. Your wife will receive the refundable taxes& fees back 

I always get through by calling the minute they start work. Check website as hours are earlier now
