Taxi stand at Havensight, ST. Thomas

We will be arriving on Enchanted Princess at Havensight this week. I am mobility impaired and would like to know the exact distance from the ship to the taxi stand. We want to go to Red Hook and get the ferry to St. John. How much time will it take to walk to the taxi, then cab to Red Hook. Thank you.

When we arrived in St. Thomas about 3 weeks ago, there were taxi dispatchers just outside the gate, maybe 50 yards? Taxis were right there as well. In the past we have had to walk past all the shops to near the port exit to get a taxi. I am not sure if that is a permanent change or a pleasant surprise just for the day. Hopefully others will share their experience.

The walk also depends on where your ship is docked in relation to other ships.

the taxi ride is ~20 minutes, ferry 15 min + wait times but they run every hour…
