Card Room on Valor

My friends and I hope to find a place to play canasta on the Valor. I noticed on the deck plan there was a card room on Deck 3. Has anyone seen it?  There were no pictures. I would love to know if it still exists as the diagram of the ship may have been an old one.

Also, just in case there is no card room, does anyone know where there may be a card table placed where we might play cards. I’ve watched several videos on you tube and the public tables seem to be cocktail size. I also saw a library which may have a card table. Thank you in advance for your information.

I'm not sure about deck 3, I never went down there.  The library has some tables of various sizes though. Every time we went by the library it was either empty, or there was one table with people. We saw a group of ladies playing cards in the Buffet area a couple of times. There are some larger tables in there.  It's open to sit in even when they are not serving food.

We've been on the Valor twice, with the last time being back in January.  Don't think there is a card room, at least not on deck 3.  Deck 3 is the main lobby, theater, art gallery and dining rooms.  I wonder if the dining room annex where they do the special meals was once a library or card room.

I got off Valor last Saturday and I didn’t see a card room but I saw the library mentioned here. I also saw people playing cards by the deck 3 lobby beside the bar and guest services. There is another long lobby across the casino with lots of seats and tables on deck 5.

Comparing the Valor deck plans on cruiseshipdeckplans.com vs. Carnival's website, it looks like there was the "Betsy Ross Card Room on Deck 3 which has now been turned into the Dining Room Annex.

That said, I have often seen people playing cards up on Lido - under the awnings where there is much less wind or inside as others have mentioned near the buffet. There are also many times, especially during the day, that lounges and public spaces do not have any activities going on where you could have some quiet space to play cards. Winton's Bar on Deck 4 near the aft dining room may be a good location. From what I can recall - that lounge is not usually used for many public events and in the evenings is rarely crowded.

Thank you all for your suggestions. In looking at videos of the Valor, I didn’t see card tables for 4 which is what we need. I’m happy to know the library has one for 4. I worried about playing outside due to the wind blowing the cards. Again, thanks for your thoughtful comments.

There are tables/booths in Winston's Bar that you can use ... that space goes unused for most of the day, if not entirely. My husband often works in Winston's Bar when we cruise the Valor because it's very quiet and there's plenty of space to spread out.

I believe the old card room is now the room where the host the Chef's Table.
