Remind me what comes in the cabin these days?

Decades ago I recall getting a razor, bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and other little samples.

 

What's standard now? Shampoo and body wash in the shower dispenser? Anything else?

Nothing except the shower dispensers of body wash and shampoo. We were on Sunshine 12/26 and I don't recall anything else. Robes can be requested from steward.

Sad when they discontinued the dish of goodies, fun to see what was in there even if it was something you didn't use.

 

Now it's body wash and shampoo in the shower, Kleenex and toilet paper in the bathroom,  some people have said they no longer put the small glasses in the bathroom.

 

You have to ask your cabin steward for ice and robes.

 

No more Fun Times delivered to your can, or notice of specials in the spa or the shops, or excursions - it's all on the HUB. Things that you used to access on your TV, like the balance on your account, are also on the HUB.

 

If you're Platinum you no longer get the large bottles of water in your room, you have to go get them from a bar, your chocolate covered strawberries you have to order from room service - there's no longer a menu in the cabin, you have to scan the QR code that's on the wall under the shelves over the desk - and your pin and gift item you have to go to Pixels to pick up.

 

Fewer and fewer amenities on cruises, just hope they don't cut back so much we have to clean our own cabins!

You also get a round small sized bar soap for your sink and shower. I use my soap bar when I wash my hands.
