Rare jkbec101 Posted March 9, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2022 We want to arrive in Barcelona a day or two early, who at NCL do we contact and how far out should we make this request?
julig22 Posted March 9, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2022 Make your request anytime but must be at least 75 days prior to your sail date. If after final payment date, they may consider it a reservation change and apply a penalty https://www.ncl.com/air-service-standards
hallux Posted March 9, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 9, 2022 I assume you're using the air perk? The request must be made at least 75 days prior to the cruise, and I believe it can be done just by calling the reservations desk. If you used a TA then they would make the call. https://www.ncl.com/termsandconditions/promotions Deviation Requests: Deviation requests up to 2 days pre/post cruise will be credited $25 USD per person per deviation for guests 1 and 3-8 on the reservation. No other deviation requests will be permitted. Date deviations can be added up to 75 days prior to embarkation; once flight is ticketed, date deviations can no longer be requested. The following ships/sailings have 60 days prior: Epic 9/5/21-11/11/21; Getaway 9/13/21-11/24/21 and Jade 7/20/21-11/7/21. Secondary land package must be selected. Hotel add-on is not required for deviation request to apply. Deviation credit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
casofilia Posted March 9, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 9, 2022 @jkbec101 If you are intending to visit Sagrada Familia you do not try to do it "on the fly" especially if you are thinking of doing it as part of a Hop On/Hop Off tour. Try to arrange a booked tour. We went past on a Hop On/Hop Off bus and the queues to get in were long but the queue to rejoin the Hop On/ Hop Off were really long. The ship tour was a lot better as everything was pre-arranged and ran as smoothly as you would expect with the normal crowd in the place. Try to find something similar with a commercial company. We didn't do the Nou Camp but the queue to get on the Hop On/Hop Off bus there when we went past had a long wait!! We did two different tours on two days and made sure we were at the staring points well before the first bus of the morning each day. By the time we got to the end of the round trip the queues were quite lengthy.
